Physiotherapy is a healthcare professional providing treatment for human function and movement. It is the treatment of physical conditions aimed at promoting, maintaining and restoring physical well-being. Physiotherapy is based on sound scientific knowledge and our Physiotherapists are committed to evaluating and reviewing the evidence underlying the practice and delivery of the treatment.

 

Our goal is to increase the functional ability of our patients and prevent the recurrence of injury. The Clinic specialises in sports medicine, musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative and injury rehabilitation, back and neck injuries, manipulation and manual therapy techniques, muscle balancing and hands-on Physiotherapy treatment. We provide a high standard of service and each patient is thoroughly assessed and advised of an individual treatment plan according to their particular problem.

Many of our Physiotherapists have been involved in high levels of sporting events and specialise in Ortho injuries.

Manual Therapy, Rehabilitation and Assessment

 

Manual Therapy includes joint mobilisation, manipulation, massage therapy, stretching techniques, manual traction, trigger point release, followed by individualised exercise programmes.

Clinical assessment and evaluation of the musculoskeletal condition is a major part of the Physiotherapy session to determine the appropriate treatment plan.

We provide gait and running analysis to help patients improve their performance.

Other Modalities

 

Our Physiotherapy Clinic now offers Laser Therapy as an adjunct to the traditional Physiotherapy treatments.
